The Season – part 2

It’s a 100 word challenge with a difference this week. You write the first 50 words of a story and, then choose someone else’s beginning and write 50 words to end their story. This is an ending, so before you read this, you need to read Anna Halford’s story to see how it started. To see what everyone else is up to and for a great read, head over to Julia’s Place.

Kyle aimed the gun at the man cowering behind the counter. With the money that got handed over he would have enough to buy his kids a warm coat and some shoes. He might even have enough for a turkey and a tree. This Christmas would be like no other.

  1. A surprising ending – I was convinced it would be another engagement ring. Well done!

  2. Not at all…it was a planned engagement, but this is a great way to take it:-) That’s the beauty of this week’s challenge…its all down to interpretation. It is an unexpected ending and I like it A LOT :-D:-D

Oh I love this. I had violence in mind but not with this wonderful human edge. What clever girls you are!!

Ah, clever. My thoughts immediately went to the engagement ring too. Well done!
